They are not auto repair facilities,95 % of them dont have a mechanic or auto tech if you prefer in the whole building.I understand everyone s feelings here but always remember you never have to pay fir anything you didnt ask for.If you asked for a 30 dollar oi change and they give you a bill for 55 dollars and you did not authorize anything extra you have the rioght to tell them thank you,but you oly authorized the 30 dollar oil change therefore thats all you are paying.Also they cannot refuse to give you your vehicle.As long as you pay for the service you came for they cant stop you or your vehicle from leaving the police will tell them it is a civil matter and if they want to take you to court for 20 bucks that you didnt authorize let them.With that being said if you think the dealer wont do the same to you you are wrong.A dealer or any shop will rob you blind if they are dishonest and unfortunately alot of them are.You need to find somone you trust to take care of your car,Dealer,or small auto reapair shop that will always tell you the truth,Whether you want to hear it or not.Just because you come in for an oil change and the shop tells you that you need brakes doesnt mean they are trying to rip you off.Ask around find someone you trust then take your car there for all your work also ask them to priortise any needed repairs not everything has to be fixed right now some are only recommendations based on mileage others are because parts are broken besure to ask which and what would be the options.I hate a crook in our business it akes all of us look bad whats worse is it gets people to not take the advice of the honest person and your wife with your kids in the car could be in an accident because you thought the honest mehanic was just trying to screw you like the crook did.Please try t find someone you trus and listen to them dont just go place to place coupon using saving 5 bucks and not knowing who is working on your ar and what their certifications are.Would you rather pay a man 5 dollars more to do work on your car if he has 25 years experiance and attends your church or save hte 5 buck and have some kid who finished highschool (maybe) last year and doesnt even know if he likes to work on cars work on it and then let your family go on vacation.If you are going to do that you might as well get your own teen son to do it he probably can do just as good of a job ati it after he watches a few youtube videos and im sure he could use the cash.Speaking oif which go to youtube and look up jiffy lube scams lol if you want to see some scams.ave a good day im outa here.thx for reading.
